The Tradition - 9 Time World Champion

This year Cornell Racing will be celebrating its 22nd year of competition. Last year, the team traveled to Ford Proving Grounds in Michigan with an excellent car design. However, technical problems prevented the full utilization of the car’s performance.

This year, for the second time, Cornell FSAE traveled to Mosport International Speedway for the annual University of Toronto Shootout and returned with the win. Despite a faulty wastegate and dysfunctional Engine Control Module, the Team was able to edge out the competition and finish first in both overall and individual time categories. The victory represents an improved system of logistics and better communication amongst team members, elements that will surely contribute to our success this spring.
